Mares, If You Ever Wanted to Meet Distorted Humor– Act Now

Here’s a sign that the economy might not be so wonderful for a sport which is experiencing a downturn to begin with:  One of Thoroughbred racing’s top sires is now available for the low, low price of $225,000 a breeding session.  Last year?  Distorted Humor was welcoming the ladies at $300,000.

If you’ve never heard of Distorted Humor, chances are still very good that you’ve heard of his son, Funny Cide, who made a run for the Triple Crown in 2003.  (Mama’s name is Belle’s Good Cide.)  But Funny Cide’s half brothers and sister’s have been running mightily as well– together, Dad’s progeny have made him the leading producer of stakes winners for the last three years.
