DigiCool

Now this doesn’t look the least little bit addictiveDigiTurf is an online, multi-player game which allows users to choose silks, horses, and races.  It comes complete with a virtual racing season, and– quoting the site here– allows players to “explore your stable management skills and develop your horse racing strategies.”  The horses even age in real time.

It’s free to sign up, stable and all (and you get to start with Silk Designer!  Wheeee!) One complimentary horse is included, but each one after that costs fifteen bucks, plus another fifteen a month to “train.” At last count, there were sixteen races a day.

Seasons are four months long.  Oh, and– did I mention the real-cash payouts?
