Along The Rails

Yet another sign that Big Brown is avoiding the breeding shed for the time being:  He worked out again on Saturday, this time at a gallop, unlike the purposely slower breeze pace of his last appearance.  It was a nice clip, which is a biggie deal since he ran alone.  That’s significant because race horses, bred to beat the other guy, tend to go faster when paired with a frienemy from the stall down the hall.  According to The Blood-Horse, Big Brown’s exercise rider had trouble pulling him up.
