What’s This “Interweb” Thing All The Kids Are Talking About?

Breaking news from the Times Union of Albany, NY:  There’s this thing?  Called the “Internet”?  And–are you ready?–you can connect to other people on it!

Horse racing has long been criticized for accepting change at the same blazing speed as the Catholic Church, so perhaps it’s little surprise that the New York Racing Association is thinking about possibly maybe gathering a task force to have a meeting to set an agenda about the possibility of maybe considering putting together an NYRA Facebook page.  They have a graphics artist, which is always the first step, so it should be up and running any second now, although, according to the article,  “a definite date for the roll-out has yet to be announced.”  Well, that’s the way it goes when you’ve got your modem all plugged in and your 3.5 inch floppy ready to go.
